Dr. Kevin Ade
Dr. Ade obtained his veterinary degree at Auburn University and if you give him half a chance he will tell you all about it! He began his career at Ashland Terrace Animal Hospital in 1978, thus embarking on a long and successful partnership with Dr. George Scorey. Dr. Ade lives on a farm with his wife, Sarah, and has three just-about-grown daughters, Larkin, Lee and Mary Howard. |

Dr. Tonya Campbell
Dr. Campbell graduated from Georgia School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997 and joined us in March 2008. She and her husband, Mike, enjoy jogging, biking and taking care of their twin boys! They also have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 horses. |

Dr. Gussack grew up in Atlanta and was a veterinary assistant for many years before graduating from University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. She worked for South Rhea Animal Hospital for 3 years, and transferred to Middle Valley in May 2005. Her special interests include internal medicine, cytology and ultrasound. Dr. Gussack enjoys knitting, gardening, travel and spending time with husband, Paul, cats, Picard and Chou, and dogs, Katzel and Fellini. |

Dr. Debra Hester
Dr. Hester obtained her DVM from University of Georgia in 1990 and has worked at Ashland Terrace and Middle Valley ever since. She is co-owner of Veterinary Ultrasound Associates with Dr. Kathy Thigpin and enjoys doing screenings for the pet therapy program at Siskin and TC Thompson children’s hospitals. She lives on a small farm in Ringgold with her husband, Bill, and many pets. |

Dr. Jana Long
Dr. Long is originally from Huntsville, Alabama, but has called Chattanooga her home since 2003. While attending Auburn University, she received her Bachelor's degree in Zoology and then obtained her Veterinary degree in 2003. When not at work, she enjoys spending time hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities. She is newly wed to Stephen as of August 2008 and their four-legged kids include black lab mixes Sipsey and Martha, cat, Frank, and a frog named George

Betty
Betty has been at Middle Valley since 1995(!) and she has worked with animals since 1985. Her biggest source of pride is her beautiful daughter and precious granddaughter. Betty has two dogs (including the magnificent Sprout) and three cats making for a full house on Signal Mountain.

Chrissy
Chrissy moved to Chattanooga in 2004 and has been with Middle Valley since May 2009. She recently graduated from UTC with a BS in Secondary
Education and is working her way through graduate school. Chrissy has never been without the company of a pet in her home and now enjoys spending time with her 3 year old Ragdoll, Mr. Bojangles & her Siamese mix, Trey. |

Emily
Emily worked for us for many years, moved away and then returned to Chattanooga. To our delight, she rejoined Middle Valley in 2008. Emily spends her spare time working on her house and spending time with her boyfriend and her cat, Emite. |

Gib
Gib joined us in the summer of 2008 as an exam room assistant. He graduated from Red Bank High School and has a dog, Truman, and
3 cats, Yo-Yo, Tubby and Baby Cat. Gib helps us out a lot and enjoys all pets, especially birds!

Jessica
Jessica has been with us since April 2007 and has worked as receptionist as well as assistant. She has FOUR Pomeranians: Peyton, Kenzie, Kaid and Tawnee. |

Monica
Monica has been with Middle Valley since January 2006 and is also enrolled in Chattanooga State's new veterinary technician program. She hopes to get her certification and work with horses. Monica spends most of her time studying but also enjoys time with friends, family and pets.

Nicole
Nicole joined us in June 2009 after leaving the frozen north to live in Chattanooga. She is finishing her biology degree and also works at RIVER, the
Emergency clinic. Her spare time is spent with her Cocker Spaniel, Cody and her 3 cats. |

Teela
Teela has been a veterinary assistant since 2001 and has worked at Middle Valley since July 2008. She enjoys spending time with her new husband, family, 5 dogs and 5 cats

Tara has been with Middle Valley since the of Spring 2008 and is interested in a career in veterinary medicine. She recently became an exam room assistant and is doing a great job! |

Cindy
Cindy has been grooming since 1990 and loves it! She opened Pampered Pets Day Spa at Middle Valley in 1998 as a full service grooming facility. Cindy enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Steve, best friend, Sal (Doberman), Sweetie, a paralyzed Dachshund, “Miss perfect” Gracie ella, a mixed breed rescue, and her five Anglo-Arab show horses. She also has a two-legged daughter named Danielle who is attending MTSU, and a grand-dog, Chauncey, the cutest and best Jack Russell ever!

Ellie is our expert bather and has been since November 2001. She is married and has two Basset Hounds, Sophie and Hank.

Ben
Ben has been working in our kennel and acting as general handyman since 2005. He is a graduate of Soddy Daisy High School and has attended Chattanooga State. Ben lives with his parents, Joy and Steve and sister, Lindsay, and has two dogs and one cat. He enjoys snorkeling, biking, tennis and Nintendo in his free time.

Christopher has been with Middle Valley since July 2007. He enjoys art, philosophy, psychology, wearing scrubs and loves to do “the Hustle”.

Dakota
Dakota has been with us since April 2008 and is a welcome addition to our kennel staff. He helps us get stuff off the top shelves and loves to play with the dogs.

Justin works weekends in the kennel and is a great help. He attends Soddy Daisy High School.

Kevin has worked in our kennel since June 2008. He is a junior in high school, a black belt in Taekwondo and proclaims to have a zoo at home!

Patty has been working in the kennel since July 2006. Her free time is filled by her 4 horses, 3 dogs, 2 birds (an African Gray and a Cockatiel), 4 grown children and 4 grandchildren! |

Joanie
Joanie began working at Middle Valley in May of 2000. She was married to Brandon in March 2008 and they have a mixed Boxer named Rocky, and a rotten Yorkie named Diva. After being an indispensable receptionist for many years, she has just recently taken over the job of inventory manager. Joanie and Brandon enjoy spending their spare time together and cooking.

Lorraine has been with Middle Valley and Ashland Terrace since 1989 and is in charge of human resources and staff development and training. She intimately understands all aspects of hospital operations and we depend on her to fill in as needed when she is not bogged down with her primary responsibilities. She and husband, Mark, have two daughters, Marissa and Sarah, and one son, Mason. They also have two Doberman Pinschers, Gabby and Crustina.

Mitzi
Mitzi has been with Middle Valley since April 2002 and is in charge of our boarding facilities. She enjoys meeting with clients and considers it a privilege to take care of your pets. Mitzi says that working at Middle Valley is great because she learns something new every day! She and husband, Bob, have their own gymnastics business in Hixson and have two wonderful boys, Jonah and Joshua, who keep Mitzi young and make life exciting. They also have 2 dogs, Buddy and Mangy and 2 cats, Satin and Sassy..

Yo has served as hospital manager at Middle Valley since 1998. She enjoys working in her garden and spending time with her husband, Tim, at their new home in the mountains. She has three wonderful grandsons, a sweet granddaughter, two daughters and two step-daughters, a precious dog named Mollie and beautiful cat, Scooter.

Amber
Amber has been a receptionist at Middle Valley since May 2006. She has two cats, Booger and Harley, and, in her spare time, works with Saving Little Hearts, an organization that works with children who have congenital heart defects.

Brandis has been a receptionist with Middle Valley since April 2002. She is a very talented, budding artist currently studying at UTC. She likes to spend her free time working on her art and enjoys time with family and her sweet puppy, Shyla.

Leslie has been with Middle Valley since 2003 as a receptionist and grooming assistant. She has a 14-year-old daughter, Britni Nicole, and 3 dogs, Biscuit, Mollie and Clancy. Leslie has a great passion for penguins and dreams of traveling the world to see the many different species and explore their habitats.

Brianne
Brianne has lived in Hixson all her life. She obtained her Veterinary Technology degree in May 2006 and became our second licensed technician. She is very active at Soddy Daisy First Baptist Church and also enjoys camping, chocolate and movies in no particular order. She has two cats, Rory and Jade. |

Lori
Lori has been with Middle Valley since 2005 and has been a veterinary assistant since 1998. She has a teenage son, Kurtis, who is getting ready to enter the U. S. Navy, and a rescued Doberman, Reno. She also has 5 cats: Camille, Hootie, Gator, Nermal and Jack. Lori enjoys spending time with friends and family and any outdoor activities.
