Dr. Jana Reaves

Dr. Reaves is originally from Huntsville, Alabama, but has called Chattanooga her home since 2003.  While attending Auburn University, she received her Bachelor's degree in Zoology and then obtained her Veterinary degree in 2003.  When not at work, she enjoys spending time hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities.  Her four-legged kids include black lab mixes Sipsey and Martha, her cat, Kitty Witty, and a frog named George.

Dr. Winn joined us in July 2006.  She graduated from UT College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997.  Her special interests include soft tissue surgery, diseases of the urinary tract, and behavioral problems.  In her spare time she enjoys singing, hiking, scrap booking and reading.  Dr. Winn is married and has 3 children, 3 cats and 1 dog.

Betty

Betty has been at Middle Valley since 1995(!) and she has worked with animals since 1985. Her biggest source of pride is her beautiful daughter and precious granddaughter. Betty has two dogs (including the magnificent Sprout) and three cats making for a full house on Signal Mountain.

Cindy

Cindy worked for many years at our sister hospital, Ashland Terrace, before joining us here at Middle Valley.  She is married to Steve and spends lots of time outdoors and with her loveable family of pets (5 dogs and 4 cats!).

Jana

Jana has been working at Middle Valley since December 1999. She has a beautiful daughter, Natalie, and two cats, Clyde and Weebles. Jana is currently working on a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. She enjoys doing our in house lab work, especially cytology.

Jane

Jane has worked at Middle Valley since 2002. She graduated from the University of Kentucky and has many previous careers, including teaching preschool. She has two lovely daughters and a house full of animals.

Kitty

Kittie has been with us since May 2007.  She spends her free time with her husband, Brad, stepdaughter, Sarah, 2 cats, 1 dog, 1 bird and 5 horses.  She also enjoys saltwater fish, photography and playing with her iPhone.

Monica

T

T. began at Middle Valley in the kennels in August 2006.  She is now an assistant and is able to put to use her ten years of experience of working with animals.  She enjoys watching UT Women’s basketball, swimming and spending time with her 2 grandchildren.

Willie 

Willie has been working with us at Middle Valley since May 2007.  He is married and has a beautiful baby girl.

Cindy

Cindy has been grooming since 1990 and loves it! She opened Pampered Pets Day Spa at Middle Valley in 1998 as a full service grooming facility. Cindy enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Steve, best friend, Sal (Doberman), Sweetie, a paralyzed Dachshund, “Miss perfect” Gracie ella, a mixed breed rescue, and her five Anglo-Arab show horses. She also has a two-legged daughter named Danielle who is attending MTSU, and a grand-dog, Chauncey, the cutest and best Jack Russell ever!

Ellie

Ellie is our expert bather and has been since November 2001. She is married and has two Basset Hounds, Sophie and Hank.

Leslie

Leslie has been with Middle Valley since 2003 as a receptionist and grooming assistant. She has a 14-year-old daughter, Britni Nicole, and 3 dogs, Biscuit, Mollie and Clancy. Leslie has a great passion for penguins and dreams of traveling the world to see the many different species and explore their habitats.

Terry

Terry joined Pampered Pets in 2004 as a much needed second groomer. She has many years of grooming experience and especially enjoys grooming cats.

Ben

Ben has been working in our kennel and acting as general handyman since 2005. He is a graduate of Soddy Daisy High School and has attended Chattanooga State. Ben lives with his parents, Joy and Steve and sister, Lindsay, and has two dogs and one cat. He enjoys snorkeling, biking, tennis and Nintendo in his free time.

Catie has been with us since May 2007 and is a senior at Soddy-Daisy High.  She has a Lab named Gus and a Boxer mix named Cocoa and enjoys belly dancing in her spare time.

Christopher

Patty has been working in the kennel since July 2006.  Her free time is filled by her 4 horses, 3 dogs, 2 birds (an African Gray and a Cockatiel), 4 grown children and 4 grandchildren!

Stephanie has been with us since September 2006 and spends most of her time with family, her kids, dogs, Dorky and Peanut, cats, Axel and Chan, a rat named Little Man and snake, Picasso.

Lorraine has been with Middle Valley and Ashland Terrace since 1989 and is in charge of human resources and staff development and training. She intimately understands all aspects of hospital operations and we depend on her to fill in as needed when she is not bogged down with her primary responsibilities. She and husband, Mark, have two daughters, Marissa and Sarah, and one son, Mason. They also have two Doberman Pinschers, Gabby and Crustina.

Mitzi

Mitzi has been with Middle Valley since April 2002 and is in charge of our boarding facilities. She enjoys meeting with clients and considers it a privilege to take care of your pets. Mitzi says that working at Middle Valley is great because she learns something new every day! She and husband, Bob, have their own gymnastics business in Hixson and have two wonderful boys, Jonah and Joshua, who keep Mitzi young and make life exciting. They also have a dog, Buddy and two cats, Satin and Sassy.

Yo has served as hospital manager at Middle Valley since 1998. She enjoys working in her garden and spending time with her husband, Tim, at their new home in the mountains. She has three wonderful grandsons, a sweet granddaughter, two daughters and two step-daughters and a precious dog named Mollie.

Amber

Amber has been a receptionist at Middle Valley since May 2006.  She has two cats, Booger and Harley, and, in her spare time, works with Saving Little Hearts, an organization that works with children who have congenital heart defects.

Brandis

Brandis has been a receptionist with Middle Valley since April 2002. She is a very talented, budding artist currently studying at Chattanooga State. She likes to spend her free time working on her art and enjoys time with family and her beautiful 4 year old dog, Xena.

Jessica

Jessica has been with us since April 2007 and enjoys scrap booking and spending time with family and friends. She has 2 Pomeranians, 1 Chihuahua and 1 Chih-pom.

Melissa

Melissa moved away for awhile and then moved back to Chattanooga. We were so glad that she wanted to work with us again! She is married, has 2 children (and 1 on the way), 1 cat and a chocolate lab mix. Welcome back!

Sherri

Sherri has worked at Middle Valley since 2004. She has been married to Craig for 12 years and they have a son, Austin, who is 7 years old. Their furry family members are Rex, a Shih Tzu, Snuggles, a Shar-pei, and 4 cats, Pepper, Clarabell, Cupps and Gray Whiskers. Sherri enjoys spending time with family, gardening, and scrap-booking when she is not working.

Suzanne

Suzanne has been a receptionist at Middle Valley since October 1998. She spends her spare time with husband, Mike, and their furred and feathered children, Sassy, a senior liver spotted Dalmatian, and Rebael, a super-smart African Gray Parrot

Brianne

Brianne has lived in Hixson all her life.  She obtained her Veterinary Technology degree in May 2006 and became our second licensed technician.  She is very active at Soddy Daisy First Baptist Church and also enjoys camping, chocolate and movies in no particular order.  She has two cats, Rory and Jade.

Lori

Lori has been at Middle Valley since 2005 and has worked as a veterinary assistant since 1998. She has a teenage son, Kurtis, an excitable Golden Retriever named Dakota, and three cats, Camille, Sebastian and Hootie. Lori enjoys spending time with her family and friends, horseback riding (her newly discovered hobby) and just being in the great outdoors!
